Chocolate Sour Cream Frosting

12 ounce semisweet chocolate
1/2 cup butter, softened
8 ounce sour cream
4 1/2 cup powdered sugar

To make the frosting

  1. In a large saucepan, melt chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring frequently.
  2. Cool for 5 minutes
  3. Stir in sour cream.
  4. Gradually add sifted powdered sugar, beating with an electric mixer until smooth.
  5. Frost cake and store in the refrigerator.
