Cream Drop Biscuits

Ingredients2.5 cups (12.5 oz) flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
2 cups chilled heavy cream

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Stir together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
  3. Add cream, then stir just until a dough forms.
  4. Drop heaping 1/4 cup of batter about 1" apart on an ungreased large baking sheet.
  5. Bake in middle of oven until tops are pale golden and bottoms are golden brown, about 18 to 20 minutes.
