Tea Sauce for All Occasions

Ingredients
3/4 c boiling water
2 green tea bags opened
3 tbsp minced green onion
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp honey
1 tsp minced peeled fresh ginger
1/4 tsp minced seeded hot red chile
1/8 tsp salt
3 minced garlic cloves

Directions

  1. Combine boiling water and green tea in a bowl, cover and steep 3 minutes.
  2. Strain tea mixture through a fine sieve into a bowl, and discard tea leaves.
  3. Add onions and remaining ingredients to tea.
  4. Cover and chill 30 minutes.
