Refrigerator Pickles


2 pint mason jars, sterilized

4 kirby cucumbers, cut into spears or slices
4 dill sprigs
4 tsp McCormick pickling spices
4 garlic cloves
2 jalapenos
3 cups water
1.5 cups white vinegar

sterilize the jars by submersing in boiling water for 10 min.

Into each jar put

  • 2 tsp of the pickling spice
  • 2 sprigs of dill
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 sliced jalapeno
  • cram in the cukes

boil the vinegar and water, then fill the jars up with the brine. Put the lids on and tighten as much as you can. Let cool on the counter and then put in fridge when done. Let ferment for 1 week, then enjoy.
